Smartphone: The New GPS

There would be nomonthly bills to worry about. When you avail of a GPS, you would only pay once for the gadget, which is not like the smarphone that would atake money from the bank account monthly.

PNDs are coming into the smartphone market. Their manufacturers would be the ones coming up on the smartphone service that have devices including the Nuvione by Garmin that would combine a GPS navigator together with a 3G phone. To make the GPS market bigger, Tomtom would also add celebrity voice including Darth Vader.

The final decision would be that as of now, smartphones could not replace the PND. Stand alone GPS units would outperform smartphone competitors, and they would not need a bill monthly.
