What You Should Know About Dual SIM Cellphones

What is a dual SIM card, and why is only located on Chinese cellphone wholesale brands?
If you have noticed in the Chinese cellphone wholesale market, it appears that SIM card would not cut it, and there is an abundance of cellphones that have at least 2 SIM cards. Big cellphone manufacturers have been slow to the chase, with Samsung just coming up with a model recently.

So, are the manufacturers of the China cellphone brands too preoccupied that they would need 2 SIM cards? Or did this just occure so that there could be avoidance of calls from their partner? Most importantly, what will be its benefit to us customers?

First of all, dual SIM would be a cellphone that could hold and make use of 2 SIM cards in the same GSM cell phone. It would not matter if they are dual SIM TV phones, or any other dual SIM phones, as long as they take two SIM cards and read them then they would be dual SIM cellphones.

These phones work in different ways. Some unlocked phones  would have two CPUS that would allow them to answer two phones at a time. This would of course mean that you can get signals for both numbers.

Not all of the dual SIM cards possess two CPUs. This therefore could have two results for the customers. Should the phone have call secretary software, or if the carrier would have an online call secretary service, thatn if you should be on the phone and then another call would enter, then it would be shipped to voicemail. If there is not such a software or option on the dual cellphone, the other caller will be informed that the line is busy.

The manner on how you would take a phone call would depend on how many CPUs the cellphone would have. Should there be more than one CPU, it should be okay. But if the cellphone has just one CPU, you may need to take or do one call at a time.

A dual SIM cellphone would be ideal for many individuals for a plethora of reasons, be it that you would like a phone from a major brand or a dual SIM phone. However, the most common of reasons would be for coverage, convenience and economy.

When you try to get the best deal or coverage from your unlocked cellphone, then at times the service of the carrier is not sufficient and you would need to get up 2 phones to ensure that you can be reached at all instances, and you reduce the phone bill on the cellphone. A cellphone that will handle 2 SIM cards will enable you to lessen costs, while at the same time maintaining two carriers on that cellphone.

Another reason for two SIM cards would be the ability for keeping all of the personal and business contacts apart while maintaining them in the same place.

Both of the numbers partake of the same cellphone list and SMS library, so there would be no threat of wasting away hours scrolling through the different libraries to locate a message.

A lot of these cellphones come from China, and the reason could be that with the volume of electronics being made in Chine and the frequency that OEM  makers are used would imply that the China cellphone makers would be likely to make new solutions and features compared to cellphone makers coming from other parts of the globe. In addition, it could also mean that they would not like their partners to witness who else they are trying to contact, but you would not know.

When you utilize a wireless cellphone that makes  use of two SIM cards when making calls, switching from one SIM to the other is done through either pressing a button or doing a selection from a menu. When the dual mobile takes in calls, it could just be a case of first in first out, and the caller that is in contact with you at first will talk to your first,  in spite of the SIM the details are included on.
